It is dubbed in Telugu as Mande Suryudu. It is directed by Pavithran who later did 2 to 3 films with Sarath Kumar( Like Indu (Special Appearance) and I Love India) both of them made in Tamil and dubbed in Telugu and has not fared well at the box office both in Tamil and Telugu.
